Dress to Express: Capes & Crowns

Session Details

Dress to Express is a creative free play experience where children can explore imagination and self-expression through wearable making. Using open-ended scrap materials, children are invited to create capes, crowns and “power pieces” — transforming how they see themselves through play. There are no templates and no pressure to produce a finished outcome. Children are free to build, imagine, move and invent in their own way. This relaxed, child-led approach supports creativity, confidence and social play, and is especially welcoming for neurodivergent children and those who benefit from non-structured environments. Dress to Express will take place at Re:Play Studio, Lowry Outlet Mall on: Saturday 21st March Sunday 22nd March 10am – 2pm Free drop-in play. This event is commissioned by Salford CEP as part of the Right to Play programme and funded by the UK Government. Build it. Wear it. Become it.
